Do people even play the objective anymore?

Every single time I play a game mode like Grifball, all I find are campers, and trolls. I could play 10 matches and only find 1 team of players that play the objective and don’t troll everyone else. some of these trolls claim that they don’t play the objective because they. “get more points that way,” but with the way these people camp, I can’t even get out of spawn. Frankly, I don’t need or want the points, and I couldn’t care less about racking up kills. I play to win, I admit that, but I also want to have fun while doing so. In my opinion, Grifball is near unplayable in the current player state, and this is honestly quite sad, as Grifball is one of my favorite gamemodes on Reach. At this point i’m rambling, but I honestly would like to see more people actually playing the objective, and I hope to be able to have fun in Grifball again.

Unfortunately nothing can be done. People seem to care more about stats than fun or fair competition these days. :’(

I play as such too, hate me if you want. I’ve found my way to play legit and rank up faster >_>

i stay back if I have the ball. Or I go on a rampage with it and don’t score at all. That’s all I do.

I play fun as hell even when it’s kinda looked down upon. Other people climbing on eachother. Side by side, playing catch with the ball. It’s (to me) more fun than being just those people who rush and make it less fun

I don’t like it either, but if the game just runs for the maximum amount of time and ends in a tie both teams get an insane amount of credits. It’s like the best way to earn credits. The spawn killing thing doesn’t add much, it is the time and the tie. Happened to me once and I was shocked by the credit reward.

I PREFER TO FOCUSE

This I really don’t mind, it’s more the spawn killing and needless betrayals that get on my nerves. I prefer to play objective, but if no one else is, I’m willing to play this way
