We can NOT say if Halo 4 is going to be a good game, or if it is going to suck! 343i has NEVER released they’re own Halo game, so we can not judge them! Saying that it is AMAZING is just as foolish as saying it SUCKS, most especially from the very little gameplay footage they have shown us!
I have faith in 343i since they are trying very hard to bring Halo back in a new way. But the game isn’t even out yet, so lets not complain! There is nothing wrong with opinions, but lets give 343i a chance!
If you want it to be like the past Halos, then go play the past Halos! This is very silly how people are complaining about a game that’s not coming out for half a year! As much as I would like to see it turn out how everyone wants it, its just a game!
I know some of the stuff we have seen so far is underwhelming, but let’s remember that this is 343i’s VERY FIRST game, so take it easy on them. They are trying very hard to make it right, knowing how important it is to the Halo community!
So let’s do 343i a favor and thank them for doing they’re best to bring Halo back! Even if the Halo 4 isn’t that great when it finally comes out, I will still appreciate 343i for doing they’re best!
Unrealated, but for some reason I feel the need for 343 to release a nice, long PSA to all people who think Halo 4 will suck. Featuring Cortana, and I mean the Halo 1 Cortana. I can see it already.

When first hearing about Halo 4 was unsure if 343 could uphold the mantle of great halo games past. However after seeing all the fiction they provided since taking over has somewhat put me at ease and I believe 343 will make a great game.
I wanna see Halo be the king of FPS again, but that’ll never happen! I kinda agree with you, but 343 has shown us a good bit of gameplay in the trailer and in multiple multiplayer vids on You-Tube.
We have been given a fair bit of information and gameplay already though. Firstly, the MLG gameplay which looks more like Halo 2/3 paced action, jumping off balconies, guns blazing and grenades galore but still pretty balanced. While the new BR looks to be a good starting weapon, depending on your playstyle they each have a valid place in the game. But that’s all I can say about multiplayer from a strictly gameplay perspective.
I like the idea of the episodes being released periodically and people gathering to play those… but it also seems like a commitment that some people may find intimidating, while the reward for playing a lot in previous Halo games was the rank and skill improvement, there is just another aspect people have to devote time to. Then again, I’m the kind of person who thought Firefight was unnecessary and while fun for splitscreen, not as great as it could be. Same with Arena when you really didn’t have much to show for it OUTSIDE of Arena.
tl;dr gameplay looks amazing, hoping the simplicity of the community helps build it up
I still think that Halo 4 LOOKS like it is going to be great! Let’s just not make up our mind so soon! I can’t wait to actually play it, but I don’t think it’s wise to have an opinion on a game that is still in progress!

They’ve tried to make a game (CE) theirs or tried to make it appeal to general Reach players.

Nothing’s ever new these days. It’s how they implement/prioritize.

I’ll take it easy on them regarding H4. Regarding Anniversary, I cannot.

Actually Bungie made CE, and Saber Interactive did most of the work on the campaign. 343i has never released they’re OWN game.

Again, Anniversary is NOT 343i’s game. They were in charge of the project, but Saber Interactive was in charge of updating most of the campaign graphics. Halo 4 is COMPLETELY 343i’s game, without help from anyone.

I fully agree with this above statement.
To me - 343i looks to have the passion and drive to produce an amazing experience for Halo fans.
Not to mention the resources at their disposal (testing, community, focus groups… and Microsoft’s bank account).
Also knowing that they have the ability to learn from 10 years of Halo games… there is no reason they will not pull off a polished game.

given the hype and being number one in pre-orders way ahead of any other shooters i think halo will once again take the throne
