343, what is your reasoning behind removing grifball? It makes absolutely no sense. You say it is for tweaking, but I don’t understand why it is not possible to tweak it while the playlist is still active. They are about to kill a sizable community in Halo, and if they really wanted to keep their numbers, they would keep grifball. If they were truly confident in the success of their own game, they would just give us the options of what to play.
I think it is the fact that people aren’t feeling the need to play warzone.
As long as it comes back in a decent amount of time I’m okay with it. Grifball is easily my favorite game type.

Thats what I’ve been wondering. Do you really need to take out a playlist to tweak it? But I really think god of games is right on this

It’s weird that it was a hyped addition in one of the updates, and now they are taking it out.
Yeah, I don’t mind 343i taking out game modes to tweak them for a bit (such as team arena recently) but it really shouldn’t take longer than 1-3 weeks. If it does take longer (or if 343 takes it out for any other reason) I feel as though Halo is done for.

I built my career around gamemodes like grifball, what am I supposed to do if they cut it?

They’ve since clarified that they’re only taking it out temporarily to add in fixes, then they’ll put it back in the game.
It would be good to fix stuff, but they will probably lose a lot of players if they get rid of it because people will be like “screw this game, this is the only game I can be amazing at and now its gone.”
