If you pre-order Halo 5 your just telling 343i that the MCC failure was ok and you’re willing to let that one slide. I for one will be sitting out on Halo 5 for a while after release but the choice is yours.

So was I. And I am only interested in Halo 5 for the story. Multiplayer is a broken mess as far as I am concerned.
That said, I will not be pre ordering Halo 5. No reason to. Gamestop or whoever will have a copy on launch day. And I’m not going to reward them for previous shoddy craftsmanship

really i remember it making me restart the whole mission when it wiped out my saved game…but yea enjoy the campaigns man.

Ha. Even now 3 months after release I’m still getting crashes in campaign. Many things in the original halo 2 campaign aren’t in the MCC campaign and theres still a crap load of bugs such as broken A.I. scripts and objects that won’t spawn (like crates for example).
i’m happy with mcc right now… hated h5 beta but will still preorder h5 if i don’t sell my xb1 first
I will preorder the LE version So that i cant make sure i can obtain the particular version. If it turns out the game is not fully finished and has issue i will cancel my preorder.
You do not need to pick up your preorder the day of release you can pick it up several day after, After reviews have finished being written and have the full scope of the release. I didn’t pick up my copy of halo MCC till almost three weeks after release.

Well I think pre ordering any game is kinda stupid unless it’s a limited edition. I will be buying halo 5 on release day though because I had no problems with the mcc or halo 4 so i trust 343 with halo 5 and i’m eager to see what happens next.
Agreed. This will be the first halo game since Halo 2 that I won’t preorder. I just can’t pretend it’s okay to have this many problems with MCC this far after launch.

this…this is what is the worst part of the pre-order system. Why pre-order when you hated the beta? that’s essentially playing a demo, deciding you didn’t like it, then going and buying the game anyway.

holding a grudge? Have you played the MCC lately? Still not fixed and I didn’t enjoy the Halo 5 beta all that much.
Also, why on earth do people pre-order 4 copies of a game?

Contributing to what exactly? Maybe if the thread was " are you pre ordering halo 5" and OP could had spilled his heart out on why he isn’t pre ordering it. What I really don’t get is why preorder? I can understand doing it years ago when supply actually ran out but that never happens anymore.
