i dont mind buying things that can be downloaded into the game but when halo reach was released they were giving the legendary flames away and i thought yes finely, but they wanted us to take home this huge stupid chunk of plastic.
343i be very wise keep the merchendise away from the games and dlc i do not want to pay extra and end up with another chunk of plastic.
Please, fix your spelling and grammar before my eyes melt any further.
After deciphering what you’re getting at, however, I agree. The Legendary Edition should contain something more interesting than a statue you’ll look at and then place on a mantelpiece to gather dust.

Dear Mccrash, doesn’t the thread look better like this?
On topic, I agree.
For starters, they aren’t MAKING you buy that edition. It is by your own choice that you chose to buy it. You could have easily just bought the lesser special edition or the standard edition of the game.
Secondly, bonuses like the Noble statue are what add value to special edition packages. Without them, all you’d have is a bunch of digital stuff that will probably go unused in a few months and completely useless when the next game comes out. As opposed to physical items such as the Noble Statue that you can display for as long as it is in your possession.
Finally, I find it extremely disrespectful that you label things such as the Noble Statue as “crap”. Sure, what you get is just a molded statue, but someone still needed to carve the clay statue and someone still needed to paint the final product and so much more. You spit in the face of the very people who put in time and hard work to create the final product.

After playing Halo Reach for over a year, i’d say that stupid chunk of plastic is the best part of my purchase.
More Halsey Journal-esque stuff as well as more behind the scenes and maybe a couple of armor pieces and maybe a future-DLC code with some awesome packaging will be fine. What would that cost, 80 bucks? That’s a good deal, more people will buy it.
