> #1 All he’s saying is if you don’t have a precision weapon in your hands you will always lose to jetpack which removes a lot of the weapon sandbox against the jetpack.
I account for myself and myself only. That is the beginning and end of my control, therefore, how someone else is going to play is irrelevant to me. If others would like to exercise trying to kill Jet Pack users in those ways, my statement to them is, “Ok, go ahead. Tell me how many times you succeed versus him succeeding.”
> #2 how are you biding your time, hes got the height advantage therefore a majority of the time he can see your hiding spot.
An example of how I bide my time is by playing smart and not being in open areas with little to no cover or at least in an advantage point where I have the upper hand and he, does not. Example, Jet pack users require space, so what happens when I start playing strategic movements with sprint on countdown and position myself outside on balcony while a jet pack user is stuck on the walkway ramp going outside? They must know run the risk of moving forward and getting melee’d or utilize jet pack into a ceiling. That is what I mean by biding my time.
Asylum = ring one, two, and pillars alluding till there’s no question I got the drop on them.
Sword base = Stay in any of the stairway or closed off area.
Name a map and I’ve probably got an example I can utilize properly to beat a jet packer.
> #3. This is a ridiculous comment. If I know the map better than you I have an advantage over you, If I have a rocket launcher I have an advantage over you. I like AAs but I see them more as a rock paper scissors, rock has an advantage of scissors, therefore my AA may have an advantage over yours in different situations.
If you know the map better then I, then you have two benefits versus my 1. Therefore, yes, you should win.
> You also didn’t address his main point that it destroys the golden triangle.
Grenades and melee? Grenade plus specific environment traits = jet pack nullified. Same to melee. An example of such is located above. How do I take care of this on asylum or any other map? you make sure they understand the mistake of going certain places where a grenade can, and will, hit. As for melee, baiting someone is arguably the easiest thing because they want to pursue most of the time.
