Do NOT bring back the Halo 2 Anniversary Elites

No. I’m just correcting you when you are wrong.

Phenotype != subspecies

And that’s still irrelevant, regardless of how often you repeat that statement.
343 Elites do not look like the CE Elites, wheter they are supposed to be the same or not.

Disregarding the rest of the statement because it is based on information not relevant to the discussion.

Not entirely sure where you’re getting the “baed off of alien and predator”, because they dont even look vaguely similar to xenomorphs and only similar to predator in one basic aspect…
But they moved the eyes on halo 2A elites since predator animals almost always have forward facing eyes while prey typically have sideways eyes. You also missed the fact that they have hooves for some reason…
Honestly i’d be fine with having halo 2A elites in halo infinite if it meant i never have to see that horrible, ugly disgrace of a design that 343 made for Halo 4-5. Theres too many problems with the halo 4-5 elites to list here…

I guess you can’t bring down everything else I said, hence only like 5 weak sentences instead of a whole bible like before. Now, the only substantial meaningful thing:
“343 Elites do not look like the CE Elites, wheter they are supposed to be the same or not”. Oooooohhh, I get it now. In a nutshell you are complaining a hammer doesn’t look like a screwdriver (although you already know and admitted they aren’t meant to) and labeling any reason they don’t as “irrelevant”. What’s next, crying about a grunt not looking like a hunter? I’m not going to waste my time with this type of mentality so don’t talk to me. But since I know you’re answering anyway, I’ll have to remind you this forum isn’t private and everyone will be able to see you talking to the wall. Have fun.

I just choose not to indulge your prevarications.

I’m not complaining about anything.
You were claiming “the 343i elite is the closest to the originals anatomically” and when you were proven wrong you constantly tried to deflect by claiming “they’re not supposed to look like the originals”, which - funnily enough - is literally the opposite of your initial statement.

Unfortunately for you, I have the time to waste with nonsensical mentality, so I will continue to correct you.

I feel the same way about the H2A brute design

New Elite armor is a must in my opinion.

I agree, even if they did nothing to the physiology, if they just gave it better, more halo-esque armor it would go along way.

lucky for us they did!!

Halo 3 Elites are definitely my favourite. I liked what they did with Reach because it made them more scary and alien, as they weren’t our allies it made sense to me.

The Halo: CE Elites are my absolute favourite, with Halo 2’s Elites at a close second. If it wasn’t for the fact that the Elites in the second game were a little shorter/hunched and had brighter rank colours (I wonder why? The crimson Elite Major in CE is glorious), they would probably be No.1, since aside from those changes and a couple other adjustments, these Elites are the most similar to the original. If I were to be asked what the Elites should look like in future titles, I would say the CE or Halo 2, as these are, in my opinion, the definitive designs for the Elites. Of course, bear in mind all this is my opinion and if anyone wishes to tell me why they believe the other elites are better, I will listen with open ears. Speaking of ears, where are the Sangheili’s ears? I don’t think I’ve seen ears on them, even in the Halo 2 cutscene where Arbiter was being punished and had his armour removed.

They most likely hear through their lungs or an opercularis system the way that salamanders and some frogs do.

Vibrations through they’re feet.
Come to think of it do they have nostrils?

You’re kidding right?

Why would I be?
Even a visually impaired person could see that the 343 elites are anatomically inconsistent with the Bungie elites.
And that’s just an objective statement, it doesn’t matter whether or not they were supposed to be the same or not.

I would like to point out the difference between the Halo Reach elite with halo CE-3 elite. Reach was done by 343 and is still different so who is to blame?

I still think the BLUR elites look the best, they may not be identical to the original elites, but they look the most anatomically correct for a species that has mandibles like that to me and by anatomically correct, I mean they look like that would be an evolutionary benefit and actually useful for eating.

Pretty certain Reach was made by Bungie. 343 did one of the map packs and, of course, the anniversary pack with Halo: CE Anniversary.

I think you meant to say “Bungie”, but it was clear from context.
I also never said that the Reach Elites weren’t different, but they are technically still anatomically identical.

The Blur Elites look most of what an interbreed between the Reach and Halo 2 Elites would look like. The Mandibles are in the same spot as Reach, along with the more (rect)angular design, while the eyebrows are more pronounced and protruding like in Halo 2.

I love almost everything 343i did with Halo 2 Anniversary, but, the Elites look bulky. I don’t like bulky Elites. They are supposed to be slender. Not big lumbering idiots.

Dudes you can check out how elites will look in the 3.75 inch figure line. They look fine. I’m always one for the aliens ro look varied just like humans look. What since does it make to argue about it though?

Noo, really???
Everyone knows they look differetnt, yet if they aren’t even supposed to be the same what does it matter anyway? It’s like calling out a sandwich for not looking like a cake.

Apparently not everybody, because I was initially replying to somebody claiming that “the 343i elite is the closest to the originals”.
This is where all this back-and-forth started.
As you correctly said, they aren’t even supposed to look the same, so why do so many people claim they did?
