Does anyone know whether or not you can drop out of onyx and back into diamond? I just earned onyx and need to know how sweaty I should be playing going forward.

Yes you can derank just enjoy the game. Don’t stress over your rank. Some lobbies with onyx players are sweaty and then some onyx players im not sure why they’re onyx.

You’re playing so intensely, you’re sweating.

Sweaty Players are more or less equivalent to Try-Hards. It’s the difference between someone only ever picking up the BR and Power weapons and someone running at you with a plasma pistol in an attempt to Plasma punch you.

Dude my heart can’t take the back and forth much longer lmao. I need to rank up some more so I can buffer my position in onyx.

No problem. You may also hear people refer to a player as a “sweat”. All the same.

It basically refers to your opponent when you lose.

OMG they were so ‘sweaty’ - from trying too hard.

As opposed to your team when you win. Apparently that’s ‘chill’.
