They post a topic in the wrong forum? i.e posting about Halo Reach in the Halo 4 forum? Or if someone post a topic completely off topic in the Halo universe forum? Do I report or leave it to the mods?
What I do is, report it and make a note that it’s a good thread, but in the wrong forum.
This usually helps with the speediness of getting the thread moved.
Hell, I had to report my own thread once for this reason. >__<

It’s important depending on the way you think about it, say if you post a Halo Reach post in the Halo 3 Forum, a majority of the replies are just constantly commenting with “WRONG SECTION DUDE”, I would report a post giving the CL’s a friendly heads up it’s in the wrong section as Ka Five suggested.

Well on bnet usually when you report someone they get banned so I don’t really report those who posted in wrong forum. Here it seems that reporting just means the situation would be dealt with what is best for everyone. One reason why I like this community. Anyway what I would usually do is help the OP or if he got banned, pm him help

It’s as long as you include the reason as Ka Five pointed out.
You should report any post or thread that you feel violates the Forum Guidelines. You shouldn’t feel apprehensive about reporting, the Moderating Team loves the members who utilize the report function.
