Its really annoying that the countless threads about how 343 is the devil or whatever get lots of replies, yet the ones about different gametype ideas or whatever dont. It almost feels like if i want anyone to look at my threads i need to rename them “343 SUKS” to get more than a few replies. Because i have some ideas to share. And so do many other people.
Being apart of this community, for so long, should have taught you a lesson; intelligence is a rare gift these days. Only very few people come to possess it. Once upon a time, this was the site where intelligent discussion used to take place. Now it is simply home to trolls, and flame bait.
It really is a shame. I made a gametype called “Reclaimer Slayer” that is a compromise between Infinity Slayer and Legendary Slayer. I also made a new difficulty mode called Reclaimer, which is more difficult than Legendary but not as difficult. Neither thread has more than 1 reply that isnt my own. Perhaps its the fact that Im a casual player that people dont take my threads seriously. I wonder how certain people are able to get many replies with their threads while others dont. What is their secret?

no i played a lot of fun custom games between 2003-2011, there’s just too much division within the community that people are overlooking your content. while i’m definitely a culprit of it too, i’d keep posting as eventually when things settle down it’ll get some attention.
I made Reclaimer Slayer because I think people should be able to use the weapon that best suits them. For some, thats an Automatic weapon. I think if the DMR is nerfed such a gametype would be a welcomed addition. I of course need it to be tested. And I was also thinking of making Reclaimer versions of maps that have weapon placement instead of ordinance placement, but i have no idea where to put weapons. I…just want to contribute to the community some how.
…I just realized by making this thread I basically screwed myself over and no one will read my threads because now i sound like an attention -Yoink!-. (self facepalm)

nah man don’t think like that, if you do your thing then people will look eventually. just at this time people are busy either complaining or defending what’s going on with halo atm, that’s all.

What’s frightening is those ‘trolls’ are the future of this community.
I think we just need to sit back and wait, defending nor complaining aint gonna do any good. It isnt gonna make 343 work faster. I know since i dont own MCC i shouldn’t express my opinion on it, but i rather it get done right instead of fast. Im sure everything will be done by the end of the month. So dont sell your copies yet. You will just end up buying them again. Im not defending 343, im just saying if you are gonna complain, put them in the correct forum, the MCC Feedback forum. Because otherwise you seem like you are just asking for attention. And by the gods i hate the -Yoinking!- pessimism. Its almost like they WANT 343 to fail.
