I don’t understand how people are saying it feels like crap on a controller. It does not and quite a few streamers are using controllers and are 4 stacking against K/M players at Onyx level and winning.

I think this is the most frustrating MP game I’ve ever played, even Quake and Counter Strike are more enjoyable on a casual level.

Everyone sucks at Infinite 
I would do the basics of checking Windows and in-game settings to make sure acceleration and other stuff is off. Then once that’s out of the way practice with bots, do some of the drills, and just mess around in pubs.
For me, I can be garbo and just play the objective. Other times I’m like the Tom Brady of fragging people in sandbox fashion. It comes and goes, when I’m off my game I switch to assisting or helping the team.
Little things like seeing someone going head to head and adding chip damage (Although sometimes you wind up kill stealing) , tagging enemies, etc.

Same, I’m upper-mid tier and my win/loss record is atrocious. Are they mixing PC players in with Xbox? The only thing that would come to mind is if they’re allowing mouse and keyboard to mix with controller, resulting in a big aiming disadvantage that contributes to said stomping.

Try not to take it so serious. Getting too caught up in winning or losing and k/d throws me off my game. The sweaty players are going to be marathoning their battle pass, you’re bound to play against then quite a bit right now.
Age is getting to me. My eyesight is nowhere near what it used to be, as well, I have arthritis in my knuckles. I have to stretch my fingers out during round intermissions and at times, I even have trouble seeing the enemy. I noticed the other day that the crawlers were almost invisible against the background colours. I don’t really bother with PvP anymore. My eyesight is bad for targetting and the knuckles on my right hand ACHE LIKE MAD, due to the intense gameplay. On MCC and 5, I just stick with PvE and Campaign, using vehicles as much as possible. I hope Infinite has a Warzone Firefight type game, like 5, after launch. My PvP has simply deteriorated due to age and I can’t keep up anymore.
Players peeked at 199k this Friday evening, didn’t even get a weekend boost. Already down 25% lmao

I’m exactly the same, good at MCC, decent at 5 but not competitively and just absolute trash in all modes in Infinite.
Controller on xbox series x. People say go in and try have fun, how can i have fun when i can’t even hold my own some of time… Im going into games, getting disheartened then afk’ing the rest of it as i sit and stare at the screen like “whut”
It’s gotten to the point where you have to be a sweat to actually have any sort of fun now adays

The fact that you stated Halo 2 shows me something is wrong. Cause Id argue Halo 2 was much harder than 3 and it was always impressive to me when people could play so well in that moreso than in 3. So I definitely see your point. Been playing online since Halo 3 and carried my experience into Infinite. The Flights, things felt good (still low aim assist among other things) everything feels kinda off.

Widen you fov to alteast 100 changed the wiki dramatically for me, in a good way.

So yeah, I feel this is just acclimatisation you need to go through. Play with some decent people or friends.

A lot of games turn people off when they’re losing badly, so Its understandable.
Also: Don’t listen to most opinions on “things being bad or trash” seriously, people are also the kind of people who throw controllers when they lose in mario kart. They aren’t liking it so others must lose out too.
