I was one of the few affected by the tier 99 bug before Halo 2 and Halo 3 released, I hit tier 100, but was never awarded my 100th season point, I had to submit a ticket, got my season point, and all was good. However, before submitting that ticket, I leveled like 3 or 4 more times, just to be sure, and took a few months break after grinding all CE and Reach achievements. Now, with Season 2 being a thing, I started at 0/100 with no season points to spend, even though I did level up past tier 100 before Season 2 hit, so I’m wondering where I should go from here. I don’t want to end up requiring more XP than others to hit 100 in Season 2, you know?
And I would submit another ticket, however, whenever I click to do so, I get a “This page isn’t working right now” issue, which is the same issue I got months ago when dealing with this season point thing the first time around, still not fixed which is somewhat concerning.

After you pass the first 100 levels (every reward in Season 1), season points stop being awarded when levelling up. The only way to currently get season points is to complete the challenges.

I’ve been getting more from simply playing, the xp I get per round, I’m at… 7/100 I think for this season, but to be fair, I did want to catch up on achievements so I did the H2/3 legendary in under 3 hours, and LASO playlists, but my concern comes from once you hit the max for that season, points stop being awarded, which is why I ran into the 99/100 bug, so I don’t want to get up to like tier 80 or so in season 2, and stop being rewarded points, due to the game thinking I have them all. Season 2 is just like Season 1, challenges or not I’m able to level up with round xp and get season points for each level, so I don’t want to just stop earning them suddenly because of a screw up on their end, which… there seems to be a good number of lol
