Do Halo fans always complain this much?

While I did play Halo 1 in 2001, and Halo 2 in 2004, this is my first new Halo game since then.

Now, every game I’ve been a fan of has always had their vocal minority: that 1% that’s never happy, never gonna be happy, and wants a game reminiscent of what they played originally.

But, i gotta say, even with having been a fan of Mass Effect, and seeing how that fanbase turned on Bioware and ME in general over ME3, Halo fans are some of the most obnoxious, whiniest group of complainers I’ve ever heard.

If you hate Halo 4 that much: MOVE ON…go play COD

“If you hate Halo 4 that much: MOVE ON…go play COD”

A lot of people have lol

Yeah.

The common “move on” argument. Don’t fix the game, just move on.

Until no one is left playing the game because 343 refused to even attempt to keep its customers.

As many flaws as Halo 4 has it’s still way, WAY better than black ops 2. Can’t stand it.

The answer is yes. Every halo game after CE has been hated. Has had complaints of being “too different” ETC. anyone whos been around here for 10 years or more could tell you this. People just love to hate.

Yes, Halo fans always complain this much. People have proven time and again that there is always a large outcry from a vocal minority after a Halo game is released, and many are often repeat complaints.

“Do Halo fans always complain this much?”

Having hung around Bnet since I got XBL in 2006 (near the end of Halo 2’s lifespan) I can safely say that the answer is a resounding “Yes”.

75% of the community has moved on lol

You are the minority

Only the ones on waypoint. They have this strange idea that if they post problems and complain on the Official Halo Forums things will change…

Such a ludicrous idea. Quite shameful to.

Congratulations! with this well thought out statement you’ve officially become part of the problem  welcome to the Halo 4 forum.

You should fit right in.

Well… yeah I suppose we do complain alot. I had the same problem with H2 that some people have with H4 and that said I can understand how most people feel and after H2 I moved on until the next game was released and since that was way more to my liking I’ve stuck with Halo.

I got to say that the advice of moving on if you don’t like the game worked for me so it might just work for others too but I’d prefer if people gave the game just a little more time to see how it’ll evolve over the next month or so before leaving or just checking it out now or then to see if it can change your mind.

With under 30k players this morning ( East Coast ) I think it’s worthless to invite others going play an other game.

We only complain pre-patch. Then we get everything they want and play until the next Halo comes out and start to complain yet again.

They cry because they think it’s going to change things, they won’t accept the fact that some things are unfair in life.

Definitely a lot of complaining more constructive criticism would be nice.

off topic don’t get me started on mass effect 3 and its horrible ending with space magic and the dreaded ghost child =[ No offense intended for the people who liked the endings.

> They cry because they think it’s going to change things, they won’t accept the fact that some things are unfair in life.

Oh I am sorry, did I not pay for a game I want to enjoy? I guess if halo 4 was handed to me for free there would be nothing to complain about. However, since this is an investment, I would think asking for fairness so I can feel like I get my money’s worth is a decent thing to do.

Again given the whole issues investigated/fixed thread. I would think all the crying is pretty useful.

Wow, you should change your views about life. If everybody was like you, we would all still earn minimumwage, work 18 hours a day, have no vacation etc. etc. You would drive a broken car from the factory and just swallow it because some things are just unfair in life.

You complain to get things changed, that’s how the world works.

343 took features which worked, and either broke them or removed them. Then it added in various non-working features.

It is that shocking that people are complaining?

Complaining and criticizing are pretty similar, one being more negative than the other. Anyway, you get what I was saying, don’t you?
