Do hackers get reset?

So with all the people that have hacked stuff like their stances or armor like the Protector skin or FOTUS, will they get their profiles completely reset like in Reach?

I was wondering the same thing. There is someone on my friends list that has every piece of armor that was encoded on the disc. I don’t really care, but that does defeat the purpose of unlocking stuff. Also, his commendations are not even close to being completed. I’m torn.

One of the main issues though is that people can hack FOTUS. Most of the people I see with a hacked breach stance also have FOTUS. I could see why console buyers and those that spent $50+ for FOTUS codes on ebay would get upset that people are just hacking it for nothing.

I thought I heard that an armor DLC is going to be available one day. It will unlock all of the pre-order armors that the different stores offered. The FOTUS and those specific to special editions will remain exclusive. I’m just not sure if its true, or when.

OP I love your stance bro. Looks nice. I’m trying to unlock it too, THE RIGHT WAY. Lol. As for hackers, I hope they do get reset…

It is pretty sweet and legit. Took me many matches of Dominion and BTB.

It’s a pile that every piece of on-disc content intended for player use isn’t unlockable via gameplay. This applies not only to Halo 4 but to any other game that employs similar methods of creating “exclusivity” of content. At least they haven’t tried to charge us for any of it yet.

It is a problem to allow no-no behavior, even passively and only when it isn’t a detriment to other players, because people don’t draw reasonable lines. This is unlikely MS’s sole motivation for banning all instances of the sort of thing the OP mentioned (moneymoneymoney), but it is forbidden by the XBL Terms of Use, so players have to comply or get out.

The most deranged thing in all of this is that a very large number people have forked over piles of actual money on eBay to gain “legit” access to this stuff that they already have.

Urks me that all armor is disc locked.
