I heard of a cut forerunner tank in halo 2 and a mech named the didact’s war sphynx which is not official for halo 4. do you think forerunners need vehicles or are we better off with the covie and unsc ones?

Dude, we already have so many vehicles that yes a forerunner vehicle would be somewhat awesome to see but in the end it might just limit some possibilities.

true, i personally would love to see one but either way I’m fine with the amount we have.
I personally doubt it, since halo 4 has a load of vehicles. Why had more. Its too much.
Forerunners use vehicles for all sorts of things. The War Sphinx being the most notable example for warfare and flood dispersal.
Prometheans, in a matter of speaking, are vehicles.
I don’t see how a 12 foot tall knight would be able to drive any practical vehicle.
Also they can teleport whenever they want so they lack any need for a vehicle.
Forerunner Tank was the name of a cut mission, not a vehicle.
To answer your thread question, yes they used huge battle star ships. The sphynx as well could be boarded. But do we need them in halo 4. Na not until we know what we are fighting against for sure. So maybe 5? 6?
Yes, they did have ships, and if your wanting it on MM or campaign, my answer is No, it would be like the hardest game ever. the prometheans already can spawn, teleport and do many things.

im talking about FORERUNNERS notprometheans
> Forerunner Tank was the name of a cut mission, not a vehicle.
actually youre wrong the mission was named for its use of a forerunner tank…look it up before you comment the creators of the game even described its appearance as "very large, very fast, and very bright from certain windows.
The ancient Forerunners probably used a lot of vehicles, but I don’t see these new Prometheans using them.

i agree maybe when they expand more on the forerunners in the later games they can include some forerunner vehicles

Yes you are right BUT, the tank and the war sphinx are two different things, the didacts war sphinx MIGHT be in Halo 4 but only in campaign and not used by the player (Asumption) and the forerunner tank was an actual tank.
No, the Promethean Knights are not like vehicles. At least from what we can tell thus far. So far, they are best described as hyper-advanced, combat specialized sentinels.

yep, oh yeah i know they’re different but they both sound amazing and the war sphinx looks like absolute destruction so i think it might be a cool boss at the end of halo 6 if we fight the Didact. and it’s a shame i really wanted that forerunner tank ;/

i think the prometheans are kind of like the spartans. theres a living organism inside controlling the outside suit as seen from some of the concept art, but I’m not really sure about the final product but i think the outside is the suit of what is inside hence the two small arms coming out of the suit. heres a link displaying what i’m talking about. http://i.minus.com/ibpSiZsocUi59B.jpg
I’d like to see a Forerunner vehicle, or at least a new Covenant vehicle, in Halo 4. The Mantis and new Elephant (name?) are nice but its a bit disappointing that the UNSC always gets new vehicles but the Covenant barely get any.
Actually forget that. Just bring back the Chopper.

i agree the chopper is, and always will be my favorite, i felt like a total badass when i drove it!
