Im in the UK and i never seem to be able to get into a lobby with Europeans let alone fellow Brits! Game after game I’m stuck in American lobbies which seem to have an extremely negative impact on my game. The higher latency really is noticeable and seems to put me at a severe disadvantage. I don’t mind playing with Americans I just want an even playing field.
Given that it’s 343i… I highly doubt European servers exist.
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition have dedicated servers all around the World. You can even check the MS/PING on them and pick the one you want to play on.

Totally agree.
Gears has a bigger player base unfortunately.
That said I’d much rather wait a little longer if I could select my preferred server.
I think this new netwerok fix cause some problems,games started this morning to be curious sometimes,some players seeems to have crazy packet loss(nothing else could explain why some ppl seems to have advantage over 1 second)Plz 343i have an eye on this!
