I’ve played a couple of matches in the Bot Bootcamp yesterday, which was really good and chill and i wanted to complete some challenges.
I’ve noticed that one challenge (get five kills with the sidekick) worked, while the one with the pulse carbine did not.
It says in the challenge description that i have to kill “Enemy Spartans”, so are Bots not considered enemy spartans or is the challenge broken?
Some do, challenges with ‘PVP’ in their description only work against other players
The entire challenge system is currently bugged, sometimes you just won’t receive progress for a challenge regardless if you meet the requirements.

I’m pretty sure said challenge did not include PVP in the description.
I had the same issue with bulldog kills a couple of days back.
So yeah, maybe the system is kinda broken rn.
Yeah, some challenges may be bugged. I have to swap the “kill an enemy spartan with the sentinel beam” challenge every time cause it doesn’t progress for me.
I’ve never had that one ,but a similar one with the heatwave. still doesn’t register kills. Also if you get kill 10 with ravager - save yourself, swap it. the weapon is terrible to try to get kills with reliably. (and EVERYONE loves to finish off your targets)
More often than not i mistake the Ravager for the Skewer. That’s always very disappointing to see the red goo shooting out of the gun, instead of the bad -Yoink!- bolt. 
I’ll swap Ravager and Sent Beam challenges right away. I can’t use both these guns.
