yeah you have a higher chance to get something but what if you have all the certs? Its kinda pointless
In the right kinda situation, Certs can be a Lifesaver 
I don’t know, OP. I think they just give you a leg-up until everyone gets them. Then … yeah, you’re right, what’s the point?
It just means you’ll get the items in the REQ packs from that point on and have a chance at getting more than one in a single pack.

yeah but what if you have all of them?
Not too much till all legendary,ultra,rare uncommon/ect are finished from what i hear. But still even then the req system lacks reward imo because reqs get used faster than earned.
Certs are the equivalent of unlocking a weapon in other games. Before you have the cert, you’re not going to get that specific req outside of a daily win pack.
Having all certs just means your req packs pull from the full weapon/vehicle library to stock you

So if I’m getting this correctly it just randomly selects a req out of all req system to make up most of the pack, with my luck I’m going to get nothing but mongooses.
Certifications is a way for 343 Industries/Microsoft, to encourage the players to play more to unlock the rest, and to encourage players to spend money on the Warzone REQ bundle (when it was still a thing), and Silver and Gold packs.
Basically, clever design to make you spend more money.

it’s doing something until u have all of them
it should be like pvz where you could get 5 on one req card meaning you get 5 and still get more after
example
5 saws
3 storm rifles
3 wraiths
2 xp boosts
