If there’s one thing I think COD shows it’s that casual FPS players like easy kills and fast movement from one encounter to the next. AAs are pretty defensive in nature and prolong each encounter while making each kill more difficult.
I don’t really think the game needs them either. You have perks, and weapon unlocks and exp and all this stuff adding to customisation. AAs seem like overkill.
Killstreaks and all that stuff, some people may not like the idea of that in halo but it kind of is the modern standard. AAs are not. Powers are not really something you see in popular FPS games. You don’t see people going invisible or flying or seeing through walls in COD. It’s kind of fun to use that stuff, but it’s really frustrating to have it used against you. I just don’t think it’s something that really resonates with your average player.

> Casuals would actually dislike a game that was too simplistic for the sake of balance.
Why do you post things that even you know aren’t true?
I would categorize myself as both a casual and competitive player. I play to win, but also to just have fun and goof off at times, and I want armor abilities.
