I finally got my wife to start her own profile ( she used to have a rare game, here and there, on mine ) and get her own Halo journey underway. She has been playing the MCC for challenges and finished the Halo 5 campaign. She has now started on the Warzone Firefight. She played a game today and came away quite upset. I asked her what happened and she said that one of the other players was destroying other players vehicles, pushing vehicles off the edges and killing players on foot. I am sure we have all experienced this ( hell, Iâve actually gotten into pitched battles with some jerks ) but I donât want this to turn her off playing. I showed her how to block the player on the X-Box menu, but I was wondering, does this now stop that gamer from showing up on her fireteam, when she plays a Warzone Firefight? I am just concerned, that after years of trying to get her invloved, this behaviour will push her away.
I think blocked players can still match with you in games but theyâre not able to communicate with you at all and are muted.
I have found over the last couple of months, that this behaviour is becoming more of a problem. Players are in the game simply to wreck it for the rest of the team. I had a round on stormbreak a couple of days ago, where one of the players was ramming other players over the edge. A watched a gungoose, a wraith and a couple of warthogs smashed off the map. In the end, we lost the game, 5th round DNF due to this.
From the Xbox support site:
Blocking another player prevents you from receiving that playerâs messages, game invites, and party invites. It also prevents the player from seeing your online activity and removes them from your friends list, if they were on it.
- Press the Xbox button îŁ on your controller to open the guide.
- Select People , and then select the gamertag of the player whom you want to block.
Note If the player isnât on your friends list, select Recent players or Find someone and enter the playerâs gamertag to search.
- From the playerâs profile, select Report or Block , and then select Block .
To unblock a player, follow the same steps to get to the playerâs profile, and then select Unblock .
Also, report them for unsporting behavior:

- From the playerâs profile, select Report or block , and then select Report .
- Select one of the following reasons for the report:

To - Plastic_Hassle - Thank you.
GâDay mate. Thank you for that.
Thank you to Plastic_Hassle. This thread was started about my game experience. I wasnât exactly âupsetâ, I just commented that it was very disappointing, that another player would behave that way in Warzone Firefight. I have seen in the menu, that there is an Arena where you can have battles with other players. I would rather just have some fun with Warzone, I am not really interested in an all out competition. I would like to add something though. I had a Warzone game yesterday and one of the other players gave me a wraith. I have only just started and have very few reqâs or even loadout weapons. To that player - Thank you. Overall, playing Warzone, has been enjoyable.
I have to admit that I did experince that when I first started. Another player gave me a wasp in Temple and I made good use of it.
I was trying to quote this.
I am still having a lot of bug issues with this new site.
