I just had a game where a team mate was picking fights with team mates and killed all of us multiple times. He killed be 3 times and I didn’t get the option to boot him. The game even said I was betrayed wtf 343!!!

i booted a guy immediately after he ran me over the last time I played. I’m fairly sure it was an accident, but I dont care. the option seems so infrequent that I’m gonna use when I can.

It works i was playing yesterday on arena breakout on empire. I told my teammates (who had mics) to not rush the shotgun cuz i was grenading it. Threw 2 grenades teammates both ran in and got killed and i got booted. It works

How is that being a bad sport? I’m playing by the rules. it wasnt like I manipulated the group and voted him out of the match.
Only ever seen the option one time. I spawned right as a teammate was about to drive through the spot I spawned. I declined to boot because it was obviously an accident. Never seen it before or since then. That being said, I do not play arena and I am good at avoiding being splattered.
I usually don’t boot people for betrayal but if someone continues to go after their own teammates it show that they are just frustrated with life and are not good at the game. it also shows that they don’t have the self discipline to get better at the game.
This guy accidentally splattered me and I could have booted him and I wanted to so much. Honestly I always boot people when I can’t because people always boot you but I couldn’t even do it this time. He was boosting a ghost and I accidentally thrusters into his ghost on accident and the game was about to end we had a score of like 990 so I didn’t boot him. If it wasn’t an accident I would have booted him or if it wasn’t the end of the game I would have. I just hope that the person that has an opportunity doesn’t if I accidentally splatter but I honestly doubt it, people love to boot.
They really need to bring back the being able to boot someone from the game for causing betrayals more than 3 time, because I got team killed by a teammate like 5 times just because i had the sniper rifle & was just popping players with it. So yeah they really need to bring back the boot system back in.
It would be nice if after the first betrayal a prompt came up like ‘Do you think this was intentional? Yes or No’ and it would keep a record for future use against that person.

I have never had the option to boot anyone before and I have never been booted myself even after accidently betraying people. Don’t think I ever did it twice to the same person though.

Thats why Halo 4 was a party only game for me, I couldn’t play with Randoms, especially on Ragnarok, damn the emp spam for the mantis was horrendus.
