do 343 think we are 6?

We havnt seen anything new on halo 4 in months and the next big thing is toys… This is what happens when you let your kids play overated games.

When’s this toy thing?

OT: I agree, 343 isn’t exactly doing the best job with marketing. Months upon months of no info doesn’t exactly build hype for a game, and after CEA, all we can expect from them is crappy animation, terrible mouth motions, and barely-immersing environments.

…huh?

Are you complaining that we haven’t gotten an info drop? If so, I’d tell you that they don’t have to show us anything. You can’t be complaining about that, though, that’d be far too naive…

We don’t need to know anything. Let it be a suprise about the story, weapons and enemies. That way it will be so much better.

All we need to know is that the MASTER CHIEF is back and thats better than already knowing half of the story

> they don’t have to show us anything.

I’m getting kinda sick of people saying this.
They are trying to sell us a product, therefore we want to know if its worth purchasing. (Though it more than likely will be)

Except none of that happened in CEA. Sorry you didn’t enjoy it.

If it was 2 weeks until release, I’d agree with you. We have no idea what stage of development the game is in. They’re more than likely waiting until they have a very presentable product. We’ve got quite a wait until the game comes out. They’re not losing a whole lot of sales by waiting. Better to wait and have a good product than to show something not worth showing and scare off some people.

They turned every cutscene into an interpretive dance routine starring Master Chief. The motions were very awkward compared to the original CE.

It’s annoying that everybody is complaining about too little info gosh !

Really now? Can you point me to some released information about Bungie’s new IP? I’d love to see it. I’m quite interested to see what they’re doing, and since they’re clearly better than 343i, they must have released something by now, right? It’s been over a year since Reach dropped, and only 2 months since 343i’s last game, so there’s no way Bungie could have held out on us this long.

“DO 343 THINK WE ARE 6?”

By the way you are having the impatience to wait for information, they probably are correct.

Well we were patient for about 9 months now…

Keep it up to February when they will start giving us information, then you are officially your real age and not 6.

Considering that you never learned to properly conjugate “Do” into “Does”, something taught in first grade grammar if not earlier, I’d hazard that 343i might know something about their demographic that you don’t, if they truly are marketing Halo toward 6-year-olds.

Aside from that, if Halo 4 is being released in the fourth quarter of 2012, then 343i has time enough to kick the marketing campaign into overdrive. I’ve heard over on HBO that the marketing for Halo 4 is going to be on par with that of Halo 3.

As for the “Toys”, the items being made by Re:Creation are die-cast models; collectors items rather than toys. When you say “Toy”, I imagine the remote-control Warthog or the Megablocks (>.<) sets.

actually thats wrong. IT DOES Build hype for those interested in the next title. the only ones that lose hype are butthurt impatient people like you lol. obviously you are 6 if you cant simply wait.

The holiday season games still havent worn off excitement wise. the time to start hyping halo 4 is when people are bored with MW3 BF3 Skyrim AC etc.

343i & microsoft know what they are doing you have 0 knowledge of how the business aspect of game design works so you cant just run your mouth saying 343i fails at hyping a game lol.

Also, you know that 343i doesn’t do the marketing, right? That’s up to the publisher, aka Microsoft. They money dump where they want to. I can promise you that you’ll be seeing a whole lot of money going into Halo’s advertising as the release date grows closer.

How do you know Bungie are better at Halo Games?

343i have yet to release Halo 4.

Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary was NOT made by 343 Industries, the maps were done by Sabre, the graphics overhaul was done by Sabre.

343i had such little input in Anniversary that you can’t even judge them compared to Bungie.

Stop crying like a ‘6 year old’ and have some -Yoink!- patience to wait until you get information.

I can’t imagine what you will be like when you finish the Halo 4 Campaign, wait, let me guess…

“WHERE IS MAH HALO 5 INFOZ?!”
