Why am I having so many matches showing up playing Halo 4 as DNF when I am not quitting. Also when viewing game history the matches show no kills. Is this happening to others?
Yeah, I got it on every matchmaking game I have played… Tweeted to @Waypoint…
I seem to have DNF’s even though I always quit while on the stats screen.
have also tweeted to @HaloWaypoint to see if their is a sweet spot for ‘Backing out’ but I’m yet to have a response.
It seems that if you quit back to the menu after finishing a match it still puts you in the next match and counts as a DNF so that is a bit of an annoyance.

Indeed it is. Sometimes your xp has not finished adding up and another match is about to begin so I back out of the pre-game lobby and still get DNF’s and uncompleted matches on my record.
Just goes to show win / loss ratio won’t mean a thing really. I wonder if it affects trueskill too and makes those games count as losses.
its absolutely crazy that you get a DNF any time you want to change to a different game type.
This is happening to me as well I posted about this earlier. I have all these DNF when I have yet to quit and that is what it seems like to me is when I leave a lobby after a game after viewing my XP it is putting me in the next game but I have MANY DNF when I have yet to quit!!!
I think I’ve found the sweet spot so you can back out without getting a DNF.
after completing a game “saving stats” appears in the bottom left hand corner. Then you get the spinning Emblem.
Straight after the emblem is where you need to back out (I pretty much hammer ‘b’ to get there)
If you get to the Choose a map option. it’s too late, you’ll get a DNF. if you come out while the game is ‘searching for players’ you wont get a DNF.
