This has been happening to me since the start of H4. I get at least 1 a day & Im sick of it. How have you not sorted this bug out yet?!
Yea, it happens to me too, I was actually quit ban the other week because of it

You’d think it would be fixed by now, never had this issue in 2,3 or reach
You know this happens because the host quits. I can not believe they have done nothing about it. Yes I can ,it is probably a non editable line of code that would have been found in the Beta if there was one. I have to say the game has to be the joke of the AAA industry by now. But I will stick by the franchise as I and others will. 4 was a rush job make no mistake, but it shouldn’t have been as they had damn near 5 years to get it sorted. And waited till they had less than 3 to start working on it.
DNF + CSR = Frustrated
Trying to Rank up dnf vs level 5 = you will D rank because it counts as a lose
yeah this is why I just shrug it off and not worry about the ranking or stats in this game. They are not very reliable.
If it wasn’t for me recording my gameplay to have proof of the wins I’d really have no incentive to play Halo 4 much lol
If I’m not mistaken I think there is a two DNF type of credit that you receive due to this issue and DNF matches start counting after the third one. I can’t remember where I read it.
Halo 4’s networking is simply horrible.
I have never seen a DNF when someone with a decent connection has host but I see them all the time when people with horrible connections get host and this seems to be more often than not nowadays.
I can’t recall the last time I lagged out of a Halo 4 match since I have rarely played Halo 4 the last few months but back when I did play regularly DNF’s were pretty common.
DNF’s and other networking issues plaguing Halo 4 were partly what stopped me playing Halo 4 often, Halo 4 is frustrating more often than not for an Australian due to losy search perimeters and networking.
Halo Reach has more consistent connections but because of the smaller playerbase you get some awful connections too.
In the end it was just too much lag too frequently. I probably won’t renew my Gold when it expires later this month and I have no intention of buying an Xbox One as long as it is bundled with Kinect which I have zero use for and thus I am not prepared to pay for it.
On a smaller population playlist like Crimson dlc, its terrible. You get matched with people from all over the world so you get lag and my last 2 matches I got dnf as the host lags out. Maybe the dlc should just be given a higher rotation in the main playlists.
omg DNF is the worst thing to happen, get a lost for no reason or your winning a game and then all suddenly you get a lost too… really need to fix this…

Yeah, I dislike that too.
Especially when you have a stellar game.
For example, last week I gotmy first ever Killionaire. The game wnet black screen at the 27 second mark. The game then resumed. It was after the black screen I got the killionaire. Anything after a black screen does not count but hat occurred before does. Therefor, my Killionaire did not register.
However the Good Karma Halo Beings smiled on me and I went on to get 4 Killionaires and my first ever (and second) Extermination medals the in some games after that 
Anyway, is annoying but, I hope all that will not exist with the next Halo that has MM.
