We have a 5 year running dungeons and dragons game that we only get to play every couple of times a year. All of us are huge halo fans and have played them all, some of us have read the books, so naturally we have implemented some Halo elements. It was pretty funny to talk about brutes with grav hams knocking medieval farmers across their fields but any how. One of the guys who plays is a Paladin, which we’ve pretty much modeled them after the Spartan-II project i.e. taken as children from orphanages or replaced by dopplegangers and they’re the muscle of the church, kind of a semi-secret project who only the upper echelon of the church know what they’ve done (Kind of also crossing elements from the Van Helsing movie from 2004).
So my question to you all is this: Is there any Spartan that you know of that is kind of burnt out from the secret missions and being the scape goat and they end up going rouge that I can get some info about to base the party’s Paladin after?
My knee jerk reaction is the big MC but I’m worried that may be too cliché
