DMR

Why is the DMR so rare on halo 5?

How much progress have you made on your REQ collection? Are you doing the Bronze-Silver-Gold method on a regular basis?

There’s a method

No I haven’t, should I?

Let’s break it down:

  • Bronzes cost 1,250 RP and has a chance - not a guaranteed one - at a single permanent Common unlock. - Silvers cost 5,000 RP and will guarantee two permanent unlocks of Common / Uncommon / Rare rarity. - Golds cost 10,000 RP and will guarantee two permanent unlocks of Uncommon / Rare / Ultra Rare / Legendary rarity.Solely buy Gold Packs is like getting “less for more”. You’ll be spending twice as much effort and time and yet you’ll only end up with two unlocks at a time across a much broader scale. Always go for Silver Packs first, then onto Gold Packs. The Mongoose certifications are only available in Bronze packs so leave them for last. But since you’re at SR 28 in Halo 5, I suggest you get working on those Silver Packs now.

Also, don’t multipost in quick succession as that’s considered spam. You can always edit your comment or quote/mention someone on your thread if you want to reply back to them.

Ok I’m pretty new to this website

When should I start working on gold packs and also is it ok to get bronze packs if I can’t get a silver pack.

Skip bronze packs. They aren’t guaranteed to unlock anything.
Buy silvers until you get req points back instead of a permanent unlock.
After that, gold packs.
Edit: Also, OP, you can edit posts to add information to avoid spamming the thread.

Stick with buying silver packs until you get 3000RP back instead of permanent unlocks, then move onto gold. The DMR is a rare REQ, so you should get it before you’re done with silvers.
