Here is what I don’t get…
Why is it “nooby” to use the DMR when playing vanilla, but it’s “nooby” to use the BR in SWAT? People need to make their minds up.
I think they call it nooby in SWAT because people “spray it” and can kill 3 people with one burst.
I don’t think it’s nooby, it freakin started SWAT back in Halo 2
First off, SWAT is just a nooby gametype to begin with. If you need to have every single target have no shields, then you just plain suck.
Second, the BR is a 3-round burst weapon and it only takes one round to headshot someone. Thus, sprayability.
Thirdly, the DMR is just all around cheap in everything else.

The DMR is the best in Slayer except on perhaps Adrift while the BR is the best weapon in SWAT (at least in my opinion, although to be fair, all three weapons have their advantages in SWAT which is really cool!).
The truth is that only idiots hinder themselves intentionally and they just get mad when other players don’t. There is nothing wrong with using the strongest weapon, just like there is nothing wrong going after a tank.

I don’t think the DMR is nooby, just overused. a slight change in bullet magnetism and all that good stuff would be an easy fix
anyways, how is the suppressor nooby? its probably the worst primary in the game. anything outside of 2 inches takes the whole magazine to kill
which is why it is nooby - only noobs don’t realise how bad it is

It’s about honor and a sense of feeling “dirty” when using something so vastly overpowered. I assume you have no conscience, or you just don’t care that you’re helping to break the game.

Using the DMR is nooby because of its crazy long effective range. It has the range of a sniper and can be accurate at that range even when spraying. Man, I just didn’t like the DMR returning in the first place. It should be removed period. The Battle Rifle is what STARTED SWAT. Now the DMR just comes to crap on it when the Battle Rifle finally returns.
I think both work pretty well, the gun works fine if you know how to use it.
I destroyed “pro” DMR players using BR and viceversa.

If you use it as intended, like in BTB or as a team’s designated marksman, then fine. But if it’s your go-to weapon in every gametype, every map, then yeah I’ll bash on you.

unfortunately the DMR has ruined the game. i love single shot rifles, but considering nothing can compete with it, i’m pretty tired of using 1 weapon in halo. its boring and it is breaking the game.

First off, SWAT is just a gametype. You’re mad just because you can’t use the AR in SWAT. Get over it and yourself.

carbine. fastest kill time in the game. largest skill gap too.
Opinions, opinions. There is no such thing as “nooby”. It appears this way to some, and not to others.
Its in the game, use it. Anyway, I like both guns.
I prefer the DMR in SWAT.
But SWAT is not “nooby” and the BR has a sway effect. The DMR is so consistently powerful because of it’s range so it’s called nooby, it just needs a ROF nerf
There is no glory in fighting with what you seem fair or “harder to use”.
Glory is only for the victor.
