On halo 4 videos, we can hear the dmr sound. but on the weapon trailer, it sounds totally different. is this because when they recorded the trailer to put to youtube, the sound got stuffed, or is this the actual sound?
I also watched the lazer and sniper gameplay, and the sniper sounded 100% differnt to the trailer.
ps: the pistol sounds like a squeezy bottle

Some of the trailers the sound is quite down so you can hear the music and/or voices.
Videos that are being recorded by a camera of a guy looking over the shoulder of someone playing it, you’re not going to get the right sound, most cheap video cameras don’t have the best sound quality of recording, so don’t base you thoughts off of that. Also, remember that most gameplay videos are the E3 build, I don’t know if the build at PAX is the same or not, but if it is, there’s your problem.

NP, most likely the best video to hear the actual weapon sounds would have to be the Weapon’s trailer, the one of the dub step, find the version with no music.
I would say, it has changed a bit since Weapons trailer. There is latest teaser with DMR shots at the end, and it’s from Exile.
