It’s makes all other rifles worthless, it beats the BR up close, mid range, and at long distances. This alone broke Halo for me!

It doesn’t matter if the fanboys don’t agree with this. The DMR is truly the best rifle. It’s better than any gun. The only reason the BR is still being used is because of the “Old-Timers” who worship the all-holy BR.
Give it some time, people will pick up the DMR when their BR clip drains and realize that they’ve been using the wrong weapon for all this time.
Also: Promethean weapons are useless, as is the Carbine.

Boltshot, Binary Rifle and Incineration Cannon are among the best weapons in the game as far as damage.

People haven’t gotten used to how the BR is supposed to fail against the DMR at long range. They wish it was like Halo 3 where the BR was fine at all ranges. Now the DMR is the long range choice and BR is tuned for medium ranges. Tears everywhere.

I actually prefer the DMR in Halo 4 over Reach. Just seems so much more easier to use.

You forgot the Scattershot. It really is helping me pass the game on legendary and really good in MP.
That’s not what I’m trying to say they said the BR was going to be balanced with the DMR and make it were the br is better up close but it isn’t.
I don’t mean the on-map Promethean weapons, I mean the starting weapons. Boltshot aint good though.
The DMR is really strong but i don’t think that warrants a nerf. If the other Rifles are coming up short, it makes sense to buff them to bridge the gap (don’t think buffs are just limited to damage because of they are not. You can buff weapons and not change the damage at all).

Not true AT ALL. I use the Br because it owns the DMR in close range. The only way DMR wins is if the one using it is better than the BR user because not only is it single shot but it has little to no aim assist when in CQC.

Are you serious right now? It one shots players with a charge. The damn thing nearly breaks the game in KOTH and Regicide.

I’ve got nothing against you man, but this has nothing to do with the BR. I fare just fine and I’m not even particularly.
You need practice. The only place the DMR stomps the BR is long range.

The carbine isn’t that bad. It can kill fairly quickly in the right hands. I can get a decent kill count with it, although, it is still nothing compared to the DMR.
Only reason I don’t use the DMR anymore is because I’ve maxed out its commendation.
I’m an MLG fanboy / w.e you guys call us, but I do agree, the DMR is very very overpowered especially being able to scope in even when being shot. Something needs tweeking with the gun.
