DMR needs a buff at close range. AR IS OP!

First off, This is not a hate thread. This is a legitimate issue that might persist even after the update. Second, the AR is not OP, so shut up noobs.

So I am making this Hunger Games gametype and I have this problem with spawn traits. I want the players’ move speed to be at 0 for ten seconds after they spawn, but for some reason spawn traits do not apply to the initial spawn(the first spawn when the game starts).

I discovered that only after you DIE do the spawn traits work, which isn’t helpful because in my gametype you only have one life.

Can anyone help me out with this? Is there any way I can get the Devs to see this?

Only thing I can think of is to make a trait zone with the Alpha channel that hovers over spawn points and reduces move and jump to 0%, then have a Bravo channel spawn 10 seconds in over that location which sets it to normal.
