In Reach we had no option… Now we have the BR too, and after using both since launch, i have to say → I like the BR more.
Why? Cus it’s much more fun to use + much better in small maps like Haven, Adrift and Abandon 
The DMR is better in long range ofc, and it’s more OP then the BR, but it’s so boring running around with.
What do you think? BR ftw? Or DMR like the rest?
Unlike you I had two options, a DMR and the needle rifle that others tend to not use but me.
sr47, just finished my dmr, it now goes into secondary, out comes the trusty lag resistant br.
Since I enjoy playing on larger maps, I never have second thoughts about using the DMR.
I always use the BR. I don’t know why, but I just hate the DMR in halo 4. I enjoyed it in Reach but only because I had no choice, going back to halo 2/3 I always loved that BR though.
DMR is will always be the best. 343 ruined the BR in Halo 4 so I only use in Have, everywhere else I use DMR.
I prefer the look and the feel of the DMR.
Even though I didn’t like the BR in previous Halos, I like it a lot in Halo 4. I win a lot with more with the BR than the DMR.

I havent a great net an DMR is OP in magnetism bullet but i need a clean last shot (a small Reach bloom) with DMR.
BR last shot is more stong and i no need wait.
My upload net (0.6) not resist DMR or Magnum cadence… 
PD: Only one problem with BR, size reticle very big for me.
