DMR Fire rate

for the past two years i’m quite certain that the DMR has had a set fire rate but after coming back from a two week break it seems to have changed or am i missing something, by the time i’ve fired two shots im down to a one shot and this is in a 1v1 DMR battle in any playlist. now its not all the time just a few individuals now and then but its really frustrating and double team is the worst place for it, i know im not getting team shot because my teammate is fighting the other guy on the other side of the map but this one guy seems to empty his DMR within seconds like a powerfully accurate assault rifle.

rant over lol just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem?

Well, with the DMR, too me its fine. However with the magnum, when i was playing swat the other day, the fire rate was different. And i usually, don’t suck at the magnum.

I’m pretty sure its lag. I’m about a dmr shot and a half behind everyone in reach (making any kind of combat incredibly difficult) so by the time I see them they’ve put 1-2 shots into me already.

It sounds like thats happening to you on occasion.

Hmm… I dunno then.

There’ve been a lot of these threads going around lately, and not just for halo, but for other games as well.

Somethings up with xbox live I think.

ROF has not changed. You choose your own ROF depending on how much accuracy you need.

You could also be lagging hard.

Whenever that happens i always chalk it up to lag.

The DMR has been the same,It must be lag or misplacement of shots.

Peer to peer hosting plus a low population will always equal poor hit registration and general frustration for the end user.
