DMR everywhere and overpowered, it 's abused!

Team work, i’m Ok with that but…

A player with a DMR against two enemies also equipped with the same weapon, finds himself destitute and almost useless in this kind of duel. I feel like an appearance in each part. The damage from this weapon HaloReach was more stable, and with health, circumvention and reentry into the battlefield were more feasible, efficient and loyal with precision. Here the problem is that all players in a team camp, pull you far through mouse holes without even moving into action.

In addition, in a duel against a one, it is very rare to win this one if we do not pull on the first target. For in heading into the battlefield, the enemy is shooting at you and the time to know where the shot comes, we are unable to replicate and to know where the fire originated.

This is why even the other weapons are useless, it is also the reason why no weapon varies because it is the most powerful.

This is why on the battlefield, fighting is unbalanced and very few rich especially if the entire team carries this weapon.

Honestly, i don’t find it OP at all.
Yes, i use it myself for BTB. But i can also easily take out DMR users with an AR.
I’ve even come out on top against DMR users with the Pistol at times. xD

accidently quoted, to fix spelling errors.

2 vs 1, all other things considered equal and the 1 looses? The math seems fine.
2 vs 1, the skill level is about half for the 2, and the 1 looses. The math still seems fine.
2 vs 1, the skill level of the 2 is so low they can’t hit 30% of their shots, the 1 wins. The math seems fine to me.
… The 1 uses a grenade and splashes both, using 2 shots per to kill but the 2 don’t have any force multipliers themselves (beyond each other), the 1 wins… Again the math still works.

The best solution to defeating dmr noobs is use your grenades wisdely with pistol, there dead in 2 seconds. I even cleared out a entire room full of those noobs with dmr’s.lol If there going to be noobs with dmr then force them into your traps, get them there since all the maps are small, dmr noobs don’t really pay much attention to their surroundings when trying to kill someone at long range.

If you’re gonna nerf the DMR, then the only thing that should happen is it’s aim assist and or bullet magnetism being decreased. Nerfing the damage or the ROF will just make the game more noob friendly.

This.

Aim assist needs a significant reduction for all weapons.

Bullet magnetism needs a significant reduction for all UNSC weapons.

ROF needs a slight reduction for the DMR.

De-scoping needs to come back for all weapons (with scopes).

remember the game that had a pistol that could shoot across a map and 3 shot people? I forgot what the game was called, anyone else remember?

YEAh and fastly please !!

Figure it out…

If against DMR:
-cover
-snipe
-flank
-close range and use BR

If that’s too hard to figure out… Go play Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

We all know the DMR is OP as hell. It’s just a matter of time before we get that TU we were promised.

Side note: If you see everyone and their brother using the same weapon when they have a choice of 8 others, you should assume something is wrong.

> so using the DMR makes one a noob? Tbh though, anytime you have a variety of weapons trying to fill the same “role” one will always stand out. In other halo titles you always had one weapon to fill that role of mid to long range utility weapon(BR in 2 and 3, and the DMR in reach). Take that variety and mix it with the load out system and you will have balance issues everytime. 343 could have made the DMR, BR, LR, and carbine the exact same weapon but with different skins, but that would be pointless. Basically if they nerf the DMR the all the “DMR noobs” as you so eloquantly put it, will just switch weapons and in a weeks time we will see " omg nerf teh lightrifle it’s so ohh pee" threads. Just my 2 cents.

the DMR does not require a nerf, just some tweaks to make it the correct weapon for marksmen - i.e. those of us that can aim on our own.

Indeed.

> No one is going to say LR is OP its only a 4sk when in scope and has no bullet magnetism. The problem with the dmr is that its bullets can be spammed and be accurate without aiming. I do agree that adding variety to the sandbox creates unbalance however I do feel some balance in the game but the dmr doesnt have that balance.
