People have been saying that because the DMR and BR are both returning that the Carbine and Needle Rifle will be as well. Which makes the game more fair, having all four will in multiplayer will be interesting
I’m fine with any of them, not a hug factor for me personally.
in my opinion the needle rifle or the carbine and the dmr is fine as well but the other two are great
All three of them at once would be fine, but the Carbine is my favorite. It deserves a place in Halo 4 more than the other two.

I voted carbine, I also wouldn’t mind the dmr’s return as long as it has a much slower rate of fire, no bloom and large recoil, it already has a 3x scope so in my opinion it should be treated as a long range weapon.
Carbine.
The DMR has already been confirmed to return. I voted All 3 because the option was there, but if it wasn’t, I would say the Needle Rifle out of preference. Pretty pink explosions make everything better.
But considering the setting, the Carbine would most likely return since it officially replaced the Needle Rifle after the Fall of Reach.
Why not have all 4 in the game?
Needle rifle for me. So much more visceral than the dull Carbine.
Doesn’t the BR have a 2.5x zoom and the DMR have a 3x zoom? Not sure if i’m going crazy. Just correct me if i’m wrong

Both Halo 2 and 3 BRs had a 2X zoom.
I really miss the Halo 2 Carbine. It sounded sweet and was fun to use. If 343i makes the new guns sound nice my heart will be won over. I may even like their new DMR.

How much zoom did the DMR have? and yeah, the carbine is the -Yoink-. that’s why i look forward to loadouts. I hate not having it on certain maps so if i can choose, i damn sure will choose it

The Reach DMR is a 3X scope.

I wouldn’t mind it’s return if it got a HUGE appearance overhaul. I hate staring at that gun every time I start a game.
