Let’s say the 4shot kill BR was OP in 343’s view and they decided to buff the DMR to a 4 shot kill. How would people react?
I think the DMR was alright with the 5 shot kill and I don’t want to see it nerf, even though I don’t use it. but for me seeing it be a 4 shot kill would be OP for me. I probably won’t enjoy the game if I ever see that happening.

There’s no way. They don’t want to kill their game and their population any more so they won’t buff an already borderline OP weapon.
Alright, I might now like 343i, and I don’t think they’re the most insanely bright people in the world; but they aren’t that stupid.
Anyway, in the completely unlikely, totally hypothetical event that this situation takes place, I would probably just come to the forums and ask what the hell happened, like most of the people here.

If the DMR was to get buffed, my Halo 4 disc would be in pieces in a milosecond.

I don’t understand the point of this thread.
The DMR would never get buffed. And if it did, for some crazy reason, people would either quit the game entirely or keep playing because they don’t care about the other weapons regardless.

My point was there is no possibility of a “What if”.

I can see where your coming from with the possibility of an OP BR. But the BR is more likely to get a nerf over the DMR getting the Buff.
If they just keep bringing weapons that fall behind up to the level of the most powerful over and over again than we’re gonna end up with a LR that fires like a Binary rifle.
If they decided to buff the DMR we may as well all just all give up on the game. Then again 343 will probably think the current DMR is ‘too traditional’ and needs a buff.

I still don’t understand the need to BUFF everything up to the DMR, why not bring the DMR back to the others. From just a logic standpoint, that makes no senses!
The DMR is a problem for two big reasons, the extreme & easy of aiming. If it didn’t have both of those if you reduce either one, no one would be talking about a kill time relationship.
I hope for future Halo’s they understand you can’t put a weapon if players hands that destroys players at 115M. If they keep it this way, they might as well start designing more COD maps as the game is screwed.
Halo is about tighter quarters and winning the mid ranged battles, not the extreme I’m going to shot you from WAY OVER HERE AND LAND EVERY SHOT!

I’d also be very scared to play Halo 5, I can see it now… “The PP is way too UP, we need to give it explosive EMP’s!”

Yes that’s the point i was trying to get across but I worded it wrong, and it made my Thread sound like I was joking.
