From what I understand the kill times from fastest to slowest go, Dmr>br>carbine. Wouldn’t it make more sense for the order to be Carbine>Br>Dmr. It takes more skill to land more shots, so it makes sense to give the carbine the fastest kill time of the 3. It also makes more sense for the Br to have a faster kill time than the dmr so it can beat the dmr at closer ranges which I thought it was suppose to. I really just don’t understand 343’s logic in the way they did the kill times for these weapons.
The Carbine used to be a 7-shot kill in the E3 build, and was the fastest of all primary weapons. For whatever reason, 343 decided the Carbine was too good, and nerfed it to the 2nd slowest, making it an 8SK.
DMR should obviously have the slowest kill time because of its range, either that or a slower ROF. It should be a highly accurate, lower power gun with a decent ROF, wheras a BR should be a semi-accurate gun with a decent ROF with higher damage.
Carbine should still be carbine with 1 less shot to kill.
These are the current kill times with the precision weapons:

I believe that the BR should be 4-shot and the carbine 7-shot, and all the weapons should have less aim-assist and bullet magnetism. That would make it near perfect.

I agree that would make it perfect. If they made the Br a 4 shot though I think they would also want to give a slight buff to all the automatic weapons. Even if they didn’t want to make the Br a 4 shot, at the very least is should have a faster ROF than the Dmr.
