Since the DMR is being added to Halo Infinite, I was thinking ot would be nice to be added yo the campaign,and get a dpecial varient as well.
Like it shoots two bullets at once when scoped in or has exploding ammo.

I am going to guess not. The reasons they stated for not allowing MP armor in campaign was that when they add new ones they would also have to add it to campaign and they didn’t want to have to do that. So i assume we are not getting it for the same reason.

I’m also wondering about this.
Before launch, when everyone was saying “no don’t worry, they’ll add weapons, they’ll add vehicles, they’ll add assassinations,” one of my biggest concerns was that if those things weren’t present at launch, they would never be added to the campaign.
Think about the implementation. I don’t think they would put in the effort to scatter them throughout the map, so instead they would have to be available at FOBs. If they are available at FOBs, they have to either A: be unlocked for free at the start of the game, which would be weird since you start with just a sidekick, or B: add more FOB ranks so that after you get all previous rewards, you unlock the DMR. I think that there are more “valor points” available in the game than there are rewards, so that could be possible, but I just doubt they’ll put in the effort.
At this point I don’t think they are really trying to sell the campaign or update it at all. Which is a pity, it had the potential (in my mind) to be a pretty good campaign, if it had a bit more depth to it.

It’s my sincere hope that every weapon gets put into campaign.
On the UNSC side, give the DMR, ect to marines or add ODSTs with them ect. Even more so if they add the SMG which we’ve heard the soundbites of.
On the Banished side, we know the Spiker is being worked on - give it to 50% of the Brute Minors. Give the beam rifle to Jackal Sniper Captains when it arrives.
When they add the Carbine, give it to some Ultras and Officers.
When the PvE extraction mode comes, add any new enemy types to the open world.
There is SO much potential to make Infinites initial campaign experience better with every update or new expansion. I really hope they do take the opportunity to do so.
