After watching all the E3 MLG gameplay, it looks like the DMR beats the BR.
What do you guys think?
From mid to long range the DMR definitely beats the BR. Short to mid range might be more of a tossup or in the BR’s favor.

Right now the DMR beats the BR, because of the current five shot kill for the BR. A lot of people aren’t fond of it, so it will maybe change.

While the BR is in its 5SK state, it will be always be in favour of the DMR & Carbine.

BR if changed to 4sk: 1.39 s
The Battle Rifle is one of the weakest precision weapons right now in terms of skill times, it isn’t too hard to aim with a DMR at close range after seeing a gameplay on Warhouse (no clue what its proper name is) and get an easy five shot.
its all about the range. dmr wins longish to long range BR is supposed to win mid. short range is who ever has the better aim and or who landed the first shot.
I like it though, i prefer the DMR over the BR anyway.

Sadly that isn’t what 343i is intending, the Battle Rifle should be winning at medium range while the DMR should be winning long range battles.

Agreed, the BR doesn’t seem to fit its designated role too too well at the moment, though most people seem to use it over the DMR anyway due to nostalgia.
However, there’s still 5 months left prior to release, I’m confident that 343 Industries will balance it out decently enough.

In the newest video the MLG people said battle rifle does beat the DMR at mediumer ranges.
I’d personally like to see the DMR’s bloom removed and the BR’s comic spread removed so that precision weapons don’t have randomness included.
