DMR , AR , NR , Magnum FIXED?

DMR - Has no bloom and no scope because without a scope it still performs well at medium range, and also encourages the NR at further distances. Plus, it would seperate the DMR from the Sniper rifle visually and mentally.And the AR might stand a chance. (And with the circle on the screen + no bloom its already like its scoping).

Magnum - Remove the scope so its not unfair to the DMR , decrease the range so its only good close up. + Reduce bloom to less than 85%.

NR- Scope + Bloom (This would be for far away targets and to fight against Snipers)

AR- The AR will be able to stand a change against other weapons

I’ll explain for him . The AR isn’t supposed to be a mid-range weapon , only close to close-mid . So taking off the DMR scope to make the AR compete with it is ridiculous . It’s not supposed to be able to compete with it at mid-range .

The pistol already dominates Close-Mid, especially now that it will be a 4-shot kill. I would like to see a 2x zoom on the Assault Rifle similar to how the SMG in ODST could zoom in. The Pistol and DMR will usually be the primary choices but it would give the AR a fighting chance.

I’ll say the damage should be buffed for the AR . But no matter which way you look at it Precision Weapons always dominate . Believe me , I’d love to see the AR much more functional . I’d also love to see us be able to have choice of starting weapon each round like you get a choice between a BR AR DMR NR Carbine , but thats a talk for another day .

All I’m getting at is taking scopes off of scoped weapons is going to ruin what’s left of this game .

I usually come out on top when using my AR, as-is, but I would LOVE to see even a slight damage buff.

True, which is why ALL hitscan weapons should be pick-ups.

Na , that’s why they buff the AR . Then we can have Team AR’s and Team DMR’s. The way it should be .

Oh yes, lets take the scope off a DESIGNATED MARKSMAN RIFLE. Seems like a perfect idea, removing what is merely an ascetic touch if you don’t use it. Let’s take off a medium-long range weapon’s scope. That’s how we roll.

Yeah, it doesn’t need it. The DMR isn’t medium-long range, its just medium. If you really qualified as a marksman, you wouldn’t need a scope anyway.

Worst ideas ever. NR is already better than the DMR at long range. The DMR with scope balances out the ridiculously OP and easy to aim reach sniper, a sniper should giv eyou an edge at long range and a god at extreme range, as it is now the sniper makes you a god and untouchable at long range and even more so at extremem range. 0 bloom DMR just separates good snipers from the bad.

AR will never have a chance and it should stay that way, you spawn wit a magnum or DMR so use it.

magnum was always supposed to beat DMR at close and tied at mid and lose at long, the DMR shoulddnt be the best all around gun, i dont want a one weapon game.

If you don’t want the DMR to be the best all around gun, why not take the scope off?

The NR would take over as the anti-sniper and would become valuable.

The DMR would fit right in as a medium range secondary, like a BTB magnum. It’s just a starter weapon, like the AR. It’s just built for a different range.

yup so that way when you spawn you have 0 chance at beating power weapons and anyone who grabbed a precision weapon. NO. Starting weapons should do fo ryou what the CE pistol did for you, Let you fight at any range and give you a fighting chance against power weapons. AR starts just le tyou get destroyed byt he team who managed to get wepaons first and then makes you SOL for the rest of the game.

The CE magnum wasnt capable of killing clear across the largest map. It was only a sidearm.

Anyone that can’t discern between a sniper and a dmr loses me. Scope free DMR? No. Here’s an idea instead; find some cover so people can’t shoot you.

Yeah, that’s fun gameplay.

I think the problem here is that we have three weapons here all filling the same role, which is being a utility weapon.

So rather than cramming every single weapon in the sndbox into one gametype try only adding certain ones.
