Yes two totally different things. I think everyone with any knowledge of anything would agree on
First off. Why the HELL Did 343 take away 1 flag? I dont mind the magnum and flag holding. I don’t mind the over use of nav points. That’s fine. But why put 1 flag on MAPS THAT ARE OBVIOUSLY MADE FOR 1 FLAG. Also why no Assault. Does 343 hate the idea of 1 flag/bomb. -Yoink- you can’t even do neutral flag.
Easy fixes for Halo 5
1-Add 1 flag. 1 Bomb. and Neatral
2-Give us OPTIONS. Fine. Leave Halo4’s system but don’t force it 100%. MM is one thing. But customs is another.
Second Off. Why is the DMR that’s supposed to be a long mid range weapon, precision weapon for skill. That rewards patience and aim over randomness and “slamin” the trigger…Comes out to have a fire rate nearly BR status. Automatically gives players a 20% advantage
Here’s a scary thought. I’ve tested it. Seen it. Done it. If a DMR has 2 shots on you…You already lost. It is literally impossible to defeat a DMR user with anything that’s not a power weapon or DMR. Infact even those get beat most of the time
Why would 343 make the DMR too easy to use? You know your weapon balance sucks when your small maps are still dominated by rifles.
Hell the Halo:CE 3 shot kill pistol was more balanced.
Easy Fix
1-Lower ROF by 25% or 50%
2-Lower body shot damage by 1 shot. Leave Head Shot the same
3-Make the Carbine work better at longer ranges.
4-Add the Needle Rifle
So. Yup. Lets hope 343 understands the DMR should not destroy life. It should be an option used for skill at the right time.
