Perfect, really.
Every other gun in the game needs to be balanced around how these two are now.
They have great, fast kill times, and their own respective role.
Don’t mess these two up, make everything follow in suit of them.

Its rather Ironic. I figured with the BR these two weapons would be useless and BR would still reign supreme. Now it seems like these two are epic and BR could use a touch up
As far as I have seen, the game IS revolving around the Carbine and DMR being the main weapons with the BR being the Mario.
And almost every complaint about the BR seems to be a wanting to make it either a Yoshi or a Donkey Kong, well anything BUT a Mario.

At this point in time, the Carbine looks to be the “new BR” with the DMR filling in where the Carbine can’t reach.
This is what the BR should do, though. Being more viable at close-medium range, for players who don’t need the precision a single shot weapon like the Carbine can provide.

Why should it? If you the Carbine does what the H3BR did, but better, and the DMR does the what the HRDMR did, but better, why does the BR have to what either weapon does?
The DPH currently prevents the BR from overpowering the Carbine in short-mid and the recoil+spread prevents the BR from overpowering the DMR.
Why does the BR have to overpower the other weapons when it does what the other 2 do, just not as well?
How can a utility weapon, that is a weapon that is useable at damn near every range but doesn’t overpower at any range, be such a weapon if it’s tweaked to dominate where other weapons already do?
> Being more viable at close-medium range, for players who don’t need the precision a single shot weapon like the Carbine can provide.
Bullet magnetism takes care of that.
The recoil+spread takes care of the medium-long range.
PS: I don’t believe anything is perfect at the moment, however I have seen very little to indicate that large imbalances exist as claimed.
The MLG players as a whole should have swapped to the Carbine or DMR if the BR didn’t feel useful.
And they certainly should have swapped out their BR’s if they felt the Carbine and DMR where kicking the BR’s -Yoink-.
