I have been thinking about all of these weapons in halo 4 and how they would balance out. I think it would work as long as the NR got better range and damage to better combat the DMR. The Carbine will probably stay very similar to its roots, a fast firing close range weapon that does a lot of damage up close, but it gets weaker at mid range.
What doe the community think?

I think the enemy weapon equivelent of the DMR will be a new gun entirely.I dont think the NR will return since the Covies aren’t our main enemy. It’ll probably be a laser like weapon sort of like the sentinel beam. Hopefully im wrong cause i like both the carbine and needle rifle.
NR is awesome! but I think the BR will crush it spectacularly in a 1 on 1 duel…
