DMR - 14 Clip?

I found it odd that the DMR is now a 14 round clip and not 14, was this a typo or was it to counterbalance with the BR because it can only get two kills in a clip as well?

I get the counterbalancing thing but 14 seems like it’s mocking us… denying us one last shot that could’ve made the triple.

What was it in Reach’s beta? 12? I wouldn’t mind that. I’m a heavy DMR user, and I’d like a 15, but 12 wouldn’t really bother me. There needs to be reason to use the BR other than nostalgia, anyway.

I believe they did this for balancing purposes, like in the Reach beta. Their logic this time around in Halo 4 for it seems to have it as a niche based weapon that can dominate when used correctly in CQC, kind of like the BR being able to dominate at longer ranges if the user is skilled (Although more emphasized).

In the videos you can see that it only has 14 shots per clip. I really hate when they do that, specially with the magnum in reach and 3. It just leaves that awkward state of leaving an enemy unfinished. I’d just left it 15 bullets, but then again 343 knows more about making halo than I do

I have a feeling a triple won’t be very hard since it takes a lot less time to pull out a Pistol than any other weapon.
