As we know 343i has confirmed no SMG, Well this sucks doesn’t it? But wait! In the new July 2012 xbox magazine they mention of a gun called the DMG. Speculations?

As you are probably more reliable then I, can I have a confirmation? Other words it’s just speculation. Can’t hurt to hope.
The DMG… the “G” is close the letter “R” in the keyboard, so it has to be a typo. Look to see if DMR is mentioned before the DMG. Otherwise, I’m wrong, and it’s a new weapon.

the OXM article is very similar to the Game informer article. If you look at theirs, they mention the assault carbine and the DMR, no where is something called the DMG mentioned. therefore, it is a typo. Plus the g is close to the r on they key board too.

DMG is the new designated HMG with mobility?
SMG=Standard machine Gun DMG= Direct Machine Gun maybe it means its more Accurate? as the smg as bad Bloom? now idk if thats what dmg stands 4 but t would make sense because the unsc has had 4 years from the covy war to make tweeks to there weapons!

Look at your keyboard. Now look at how close R key (as in “DMR”) and the G key (as in “DMG”)are. I think that could be the answer.
