By now everyone will be taking about the new upcoming halo games and the ‘xbox 720’. Well where to go with halo 4… 3 dlc map packs and a dlc forge map have already been released. Wouldn’t it be awesome if 343 industries had ideas or plans mid-game for vehicles or weapons for new halo games but was sceptical about whether they would be pouplar. They could just as easily put dlc weapons or vehicles to forge and play in custom games in halo 4 to see how popular or in-popular they are.
There are a few toys or figurine factories that construct halo merchandise. These factories have always stuck to the canon series. And so a few new vehicles have popped up convincing people of the new models. Two vehicles which are shown is the siege bike, a unsc version of the ghost/ chopper; and VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing), a unsc flying vehicle. This isnt the only reference to that happening, back before halo 4 was released or even announced, mcfarlane toys had updated there stocks showning two character models… the promethean watcher and promethean crawler… and the same thing happened with noble team members before halo reach.
Interesting. Are you referring to the Mega-Block figures? That is the only company I’ve seen that has those vehicles. The Mega-Block company has been known to push the truth and develop it’s own concept vehicles in the same way lego makes it’s own Star Wars vehicles. So if that is the only company you are referring to, I don’t know if those are truly Halo vehicles.
I could understand new DLC weapons and vehicles on new forge maps as a test. And if they are successful, 343i could put them (preferably the vehicles, and save the new weapons for Halo 5) into a multiplayer map and gametype to review the feedback from the players.
This would be a good way to openly test new concepts in Halo 4 before coding them into Halo 5. Kind of like a concept beta to see how the community will accept and use the new vehicles.
Yeah I was referring to Mega-Blocks. And yeah a test for the public like a beta. It would allow general criticism as well as positive feedback on where it worked and didn’t work. Plus give 343i an idea of whether it is worth adding that vehicle into the next halo game.

A UNSC flying vehicle. That is all I ask for.
