Is this not such a hard thing to ask for? this is 343’s time to show they can do more things with halo then with what Bungie did DLC wise. Bungie never added more armor after the other halo’s came out. Do it for this one! I find myself getting bored of all the helmets and chest pieces after i play halo for awhile. I wouldn’t even care if they threw in things like the vidmaster achivments they did for the recon armor in ODST. If anyone else agrees we should press this more. I know 343 looks at these forums often. If this isen’t the right section to put this in then tell me where to post it at.
Well, the reason Bungie never did was because it was impossible. The way the armor was coded into the game meant that they would have to recall every game disc and have new ones with the new armor made. Something with the way they were coded into the maps.
I’m not sure if the armor is the same way in Halo 4 or not…but I have heard that it is. Not from anyone official, mind you, but still.
If they were able to have new armor they would have to include it, or at least all of the coding, in a mandatory update. Otherwise, people who didn’t buy it wouldn’t be able to see it and would instead see some placeholder icon like a big red X or something.
Of course, giving people all of the code for something and then charging them for it is on par with Day 1, on-disc DLC…so that’s unlikely.
I find all these different armor pieces stupid, they all look the same when your playing, only thing you might notice is a different helmet. I wish they would only give a few selections and thats it. I like that you get M.C. armor by doing legendary to stand out but the rest are kinda a waste.
