Will there ever be any dlc that aren’t just new maps? For example weapon, armour or specializations?

Doubtful. I would be surprised if they even built in the functionality to make that happen.
Let alone the fact that they can’t even balance the current sandbox. Guns are very unlikely.
I believe what you’re asking for would require a TU and then a code to unlock the information. With that being said, no that would take a very long time to do.
Ugh I can’t believe it, but I’m agreeing with o Xavi3r o, The sandbox is currently in no shape to be adding weapons to it when there is balancing to be done among Armor abilities, weapons, tactical packages and support upgrades.
I’m gonna go rinse my mind of me ever agreeing with him.
There are already 70 different helmets in the game - that’s enough armor for me. Maybe Mark V armor would be nice but bs angel said that isn’t going to happen.
I think there’s a reasonable call for weapon skins though. We only have 11 at the moment.
I’m pretty sure they’re unable to add anything though so it’s probably not going to happen
