So a few months ago, my father bought the Halo 4 Infinity Armour Pack, and I had a lot of fun with the Mark V armour. Then recently, the DLC wouldn’t appear unless he was logged in. So I can’t use the armour unless my father is logged in. It’s strange though, and I checked everywhere for the answer, and couldn’t find anything. So it doesn’t appear for me and I can’t use it unless my father is logged in.

When your father bought the armor pack, did he make sure it was for your account or did he get it for his on accident? DLC only works for the account that the purchase is made from. If the pack was bought on his account, that would lead to the problem you’re experiencing now.

He bought it on his account, but it works for me too when he’s signed in.

Accounts can’t distinguish between individuals. It thinks you’re your father when signed into his account and you when signed into yours. Because the DLC was for your father’s account, it will only work when the system believes he is the one playing, AKA when his account is being used. If you’re saying that it works for you as well if you have both accounts signed in at once, then I suppose it works, but granted this solution would be a tedious one to go through everytime you boot up Halo 4,
Well, is there any way to give it to another profile?
You can license transfer between consoles, but you cannot transfer between Xbox Live Accounts I’m afraid - licenses are for a single account on a single console (this has changed on the Xbox One but I imagine due to the way the 360 systems are structured it’s not possible to back port). Be wary about other advice given about this, attempting to transfer between profiles is a breach of the Xbox Terms of Service and can affect your XBL account and your ability to use it.

Your only 2 possibilities are to keep your dad’s account signed in when you want to play the DLC, or purchase the DLC pack / season pass on your own account
