So I was playing Team Slayer today and I got the Both Barrels achievement on an Anniversary map even though it’s a Noble maps achievement. Is it possible to get the DLC achievements on non-DLC maps? Or are they only obtainable on DLC maps? Or maps from that map pack? Is it achievement specific?
The Noble achievements are not map specific but the Defiant and Anniversary achievements are.
Okay so how would I go about getting Anniversary achievements like Emergency Room or Bounty Hunter? There is no FFA playlist that has Anniversary maps pop up and if Living Dead or Rumble Pit do get these maps it must be pretty rare. 343 should bring back the FFA playlists or playlists for exclusively DLC maps.
With population as low as it is… Your quest is to add as many friends as possible that own DLC. When you gathered this friends in a full lobby, the maps will show up in mm in almost every playlist almost every time.
Go to the recruiting board , find the freelance thread… Add yourself to the list and also message as many of the players on that list who say they own all DLC (or atleast the DLC u seek) start with the more recent players as possible. Because you are so late in the game, your mission is difficult. But after you find these players… Everything else is easy.

The “Don’t touch that!” achievement is the only achievement I have left on Reach. I’ve been trying for a while now, but I’m getting really discouraged. I can’t ever find a one flag CTF game on a Defiant map. Is it even possible to get this achievement??
Going to try and get a group together do to some achievements tonight (2/2/2013) at around 8pm EST in Reach as well as Halo 3. Add me or post here if you’re interested!

To get the Emergency Room and Bounty Hunter achievements, I played FFA on the Halo Anniversary disc when the game first came out. Back then Anniversary FFA had Infection in the playlist. Also, the All Alone achievement can only be done on 1 map: Condemned (or rather its infection variant). This is probably 1 of the hardest achievements to get as it is very, VERY rare to get a full game of people who all have the Defiant DLC (and if you do get a full party with the DLC, its rare that it will show the map in the selections at all).
This group helped me get every Reach achievement and I’m sure they’ll help you out if you find a good time to schedule meeting with them.

Hi I just saw tho forum and was wondering if it would be to late to ask for help getting all the halo reach achievements on the dlc I’ve had this FCC for a while but never finished the achievements and its making me mad that they removed the dlc and I’m out of ideas on how to get these achievements.

Hey, first of all, please don’t necropost 3 months old topics 
Second of all, try posting in the Recruiting section, I’m sure other will be willing to help you out.
Lastly, check the Halo: Reach Playlist page out, you’ll be able to see what DLC maps & gametypes are in each playlist so you know what to search in.
