If I’m wrong about this, please correct me. From everything I’ve read and seen so far, it seems like any future dlc maps we receive are going to be forge made, and not original maps. Words can’t describe how much this disappoints me if this is the case. I would have happily paid money for new and original maps that have that polished look and design to them. DLC maps from from all the old game’s were a blast to explore and they were works of art. These forge maps, although they play well thanks to level design, don’t have any heart/soul/characteristics to them. They look bland and tacky. Halo 3 dlc maps look better than these forge ones. This game is fantastic, but it’s unfortunate so many corners are being cut to save money. First split screen, and now the maps.

I do agree that if they just sold us maps that were forged, it’d be pretty pathetic, but you act like people couldn’t make amazing forge maps with 5 - which is literally the best forge we’ve ever had, next to PC map editing tools.
What article did you read? Not all the maps are gonna be forge maps. Most likely arena maps will either be remixed or entirely new. Some forged perhaps, maybe for BTB. But at least with BTB we are playing on maps we knew and love, maybe if it looked a lot better… Like have you seen the maps without filters, it looks so much better.

That means that there have been 3 dev maps added since the end of October. Plus the 6+ forge maps already added! Next time do a little research(: if you got the game around Christmas (not just speaking @op) then you missed out on the updates and came into the game with more content than it launched with. So maybe you missed that they have been adding content?

I was in that position myself, however I kept up with HaloFollower etc.
